Territory Sales Business Development Manager (Bulk) LPG Gas – KZN- R R29 000 pm + comm + benefits

ON OFFER:
Salary +/- R29, 000.00 TCOE, in addition a car allowance, petrol card and a cell phone

OBJECTIVE:
The objective of the Territory Sales Business Development Manager is to optimise the sales of in the area by providing
quality service and increasing customer satisfaction in a profitable and safe manner.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
• Grade 12 qualification, preferably with relevant tertiary qualification (Marketing or Technical).
• A minimum of two years sales experience.
• Working knowledge of CRM tools an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer centric individual.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
• Must be willing and able to travel.



OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
• Achieving and exceeding individual business objectives / targets as well as supporting the team to
achieve overall team objectives;
• Ensuring that all projects and tasks assigned by management are met on time and in full;
• Forecasting annual activity by estimating the new business that needs to be generated from existing
customers in portfolio and new customers in order to achieve targets;
• Ensuring compliance with the sales standards as communicated by the Line Manager;
• Driving sales by signing up new business while keeping contact with existing customers through
visits;
• Calling on potential and new customers and contracting them;
• Ensure that the profitability and returns on investment are optimised by maximising efficiency of
resources;
• Liaise with Customer Services and Customers to ensure the credit management of all customers;
• Required to develop and maintain an excellent understanding of the key customers / target markets
to ensure that their needs are being met and their business is retained and grown;
• Liaise with the Commercial Manager/Regional Sales Manager in terms of forecasting sales targets
and ensuring that they are met;
• Required to have a sound understanding of the market, competitors, customers etc. ensuring
that such information is leveraged to attain sales targets;
• Observe and comply with company policies/regulations that are applicable such as HSSE, MoA, and
Competition Law.
