We are looking for someone who is good at analysis, effective test case and scenario construction and has a demonstrated capability of selecting appropriate issues for further exploratory testing

- A self starter, who is eager to learn and add value, and is delivery driven is crucial

- Must be willing to work overtime / weekends when required

- ERP testing or accounting system testing experience preferred. (Sage X3 exposure an advantage)

- Experience in integration and exploratory testing essential.

Functional competencies:

4. Design and construct effective test cases.
5. Identify and/or design, and manage test data
6. Perform risk management, i.e. raise and manage testing risks
7. Log, review and manage defects
8. Provide adequate progress tracking and reporting
9. Display excellent written and verbal communication skills
10. Engage with and support the Test Manager
11. Execute regression packs in order to support project finalization
12. Support and assist UAT.
13. Advanced problem identification / solving skills

Education:

1. Tertiary qualification in the financial industry (e.g. B.Comm degree, diploma) will be advantageous but not essential.
2. ISTQB/SASTQB Advanced Test Analyst, or similar, certification.

Experience:

1. Experience in the logistics/transport industry is preferable
2. 5+ years testing experience required.
3. Full understanding of the SDLC and TLC.
