Our client based in Pretoria are looking for an excellent Test Analyst to add to their team on a permanent basis You will be Responsible for: • Participate in all SCRUM ceremonies • Collaborate closely with business owners to gain a better understanding of what the requirements and expectations are • Collaborate closely with BA’s and making suggestions where system can be improved. • Reviewing and familiarizing yourself with user stories (and functional specifications) from BA’s • Manual front end functional testing of application(s) • Carry out exploratory testing to identify any possible issues that might have been overlooked during regression testing and functional testing • Collaborate closely with developers, identifying, logging, prioritizing and verifying defects in a defect tracking system • Defect tracking of all defects logged by you • Executing regression tests in preparation for go-live Experience and Skill Requirements: • IT Related Degree • 5+ years’ experience • A good understanding of software testing processes and principles • Strong manual testing skills • Analytical and logical thinking • The ability to envision different business scenarios • Self starter • Excellent communication • Negotiation • Conflict management • Relationship building • Team player • Planning and time management skills • Relevant IT degree or diploma • Insurance knowledge will be highly beneficial • ISTQB certification will be beneficial • Own transport Interested candidates can forward their comprehensive written applications to the following e-mail: (at) or fax to: (***)-***-****, you can also contact Caitlin on (***)-***-**** Correspondence will only be conducted with short listed candidates.
