A client, based in Pretoria CBD, has a number of vacancies available for Test Analysts (Manual Tester, Automation Tester or Performance Tester).

Responsibilities
The main purpose of these positions is the end-to-end testing of the Business Intelligence (BI) reports being developed in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
The testing will cover both the back-end (ETL, Database layers, Star Schemas, Cubes) and Front-end reports (BI Analysis and Reporting) aspects of the solution
This testing includes functional testing, performance testing, and regression testing as well as co-ordinating and reporting on User Acceptance testing (UAT) execution and sign off
The Test Analysts will work in close collaboration and guidance of the in-house Business Analyst assigned to the National Payments System Department and coordination with the Project team and System Vendor Team
Participating in the project throughout the remaining life cycle of a project
The Test Analyst will be responsible to planning, execution and obtaining sign-off of all testing deliverables
Defining the test approach for the project and highlighting and mitigating risks
Preparing test data to align to the testing scenarios in each technical environment
Assisting with enforcing the Testing Centre of Excellence (TCoE) standards within the project
Maintenance of testing defects and testing results
Reporting and obtaining sign off for each test cycle

Requirements
Degree or BTech qualification
Three to six years’ experience in Test execution and Test Lead
Three to six years experienced in conducting functional testing, performance testing, and regression Payments system experience
Oracle experience
Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
Oracle Financial Advisor (OFA) experience (added advantage)
Essbase experience (added advantage)
Knowledge of the Business Intelligence Fundamentals, Data warehouse fundamentals and Dimensional Modelling Fundamentals
Knowledge of the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
Skilled in business process models analysis, design and documentation
Ability to use basic software applications (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Internet and e-mail)
Skilled in using modelling tools (required)
