Tester – Manual – Intermediate

Position Overview
The Tester is responsible for the design of, as well as the running and monitoring of software functional\performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of identifying errors, isolating areas for improvement and general debugging. 

The Tester also provides assistance with the development of user manuals and guidelines. Recommendations for software improvements and upgrades based on the experience gained during the test phase of the software development must also be documented.


Requirements

• 4+ years as a tester / test analyst
• Minimum of ISEB Foundation qualification.
• Previous experience in Software Product Development;
• Basic automation skills
• Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with     members of interdisciplinary teams;
• Hands-on experience developing test cases and test plans;
• Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding     new technologies;
• Keen attention to detail;
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities;
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-    pressure environment
• Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented,     collaborative environment;
• Ability to work under tight timeframes.
