A mature Theatre Unit Manager is needed at a Private Hospital Specialised Theatre Unit in Durban to manage a 6 Theatre Complex.

Skill Requirements:

• Ability to understand and follow policies, procedures and protols as the Theatre Unit Manager.
• Ability to assist the Theatre Matron and supervising the staff within the Theatre.
• Assume the role of Nurse Educator with all students as well as all staff.
• Should be able to scrub for all disciplines within Theatres
• Communicate with patient and family regarding patient care and informs Matron of patient care problems

Applicants for this position must :

• Approximately 5 years’ experience as a Sister as well a proven experience as a Theatre Unit Manager.
