Key Responsibilities:

• Provide effective management by demonstrating visible leadership skills
• Conduct stock management with inventory control
• Ensure product management with implementation of formulary changes, accelerated product conversions and improvement initiatives
• Communicate to theatre staff and doctors to comply with formulary products
• Ensure effective theatre utilization by effectively allocating theatre time
• Minimize overtime hours by updating shift schedules and arranging call lists

Requirement:

• Have current registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse
• Have a post basic Theatre qualification – this is essential!
• Have minimum 3 years relevant theatre experience in a leadership capacity
• Possess strong leadership skills, sound communication, and good inter-personal skills
• Be able to work well under pressure and assume responsibility for managing personal outputs
• Be computer literate & experience with Kronos advantageous
