Tool and Die maker with experience in new product design.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a tool and diemaker with new product design and development experience to be part of a leading and progressive design and manufacturing team.

Roles and Responsibilities
• To provide production support, ensuring reduction of downtime, and promotion of efficient production
• Produce and repair jigs, dies and moulds/molds for use in manufacture
• Machine, file, grind, shim and adjust parts and components to ensure fit for purpose.
• Fit and Assemble parts to make, Repair, or Modify Dies, Jigs, Gauges, and Tools, using machine and hand tools.
• Verify and checks to parts to drawings to ensure it meets with Quality Standards and Specifications
• Attend to work Stoppages and Machine Breakdowns
• Adhere to all Safety Specifications and Company Safety procedures for Working with or on Machinery and Equipment.
• Prepare samples and prototypes for new product development
• Manage casual staff
• Any reasonable Task that maybe expected from you from time to time
• Ensuring the integration of the QMS requirements into the organisations business processes in relation to procurement, logistics and internal sales.
• Provide any assistance during audits.

Skill Set
• Qualified Tool and Diemaker
• At least 5 years’ post qualification experience
• Experience in new product development
• A flair for practical design ensuring smooth production flow
• Motor component manufacturing experience an advantage.
