? Tooling Trade test (Red Seal) with reputable institution is mandatory
? Relevant Engineering studies from TVET institutions or equivalent will be an added advantage
? Project management qualification will be an added advantage (Ability to create and follow project schedules)
? Forming simulation software
? Basic 2D and 3D CAD software or Catia V5
? UG NX, Autodesk Moldflow, FEM software
? Ability to understand complex engineering drawings
? Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
? Use of company computer programs (ex: ID4- similar to SAP);
? Knowledge of company products and its processes;
? Behaviours according to the principles, values and standards of the company
? Adherence to Company Values, Procedures, Policies and Working Tools.

Responsibility & Authority:

? Responsible for all aspects related to creating tools for the stamping process
? Overseeing and implementing all steps in the process of efficiently producing usable tools.
? Participate in the buy-off of equipment’s
? Project management & cost estimation for new model tooling
? Ensure sheet metal part formability and create new stamping simulations
? Run in-house trials and installation for new tooling
? Ability to use hand, power tools and exposure to machining
? Produce engineering design, mark raw material, and perform cutting.
? Use machine tools to complete the rough outline of the product.
? Use hand tools to provide proper finishing
? Assure customer satisfaction by meeting specifications in terms of design, measurements and quality.
? Assemble and test the completed tool to ensure quality craftsmanship
? Produce unique custom-made tools, as well as modifying existing tools to meet specific manufacturing needs.
? Conduct Maintenance inspections
? Assure monthly preventative maintenance and safe use of the tools
? Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol
? Provide training to Maintenance Team using the versatility training matrix
? Apply Company 5s tool to assure required housekeeping standards
? Use 5pb tool to find root causes for problems
