What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Plastics Manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context.

* Preventative Maintenance on Moulds
* Repair of Moulds - TIG Welding, CNC. Pins, Brackets
* Repair of Moulding Mechanism - Hot Runner System
* Robot Gripper Repair and Maintenance
* Drawings, Work Instructions

Key Job Deliverables:

* Adhere 100% to Maintenance Schedule
* Ensure Moulds are Operating Optimally
* Minimise Mould Downtime

Background work experience:

* 5 years Toolmaker
* 2 years Injection System Maintenance
* 3 years Mould Making and Repair Techniques
* 2 years Drawings & Solid Works
* Toolmaker - Trade Test
* Expert in Toolmaking - Preferably Plastics
* The entire process of toolmaking and mould creation from drawing to mould creation
* Stripping and repairing plastic injection systems
* CNC, Milling, Surface Grinder, Spark Eroder, Turning, polishing, bedding surfaces
* Basic drawing modifications, can read drawings, can program drawing in CNC machine
* Advantageous: Plastic Injection Moulding Tooling
