Requirements:

Trade test, Fitter and turner or Toolmaker / Mechanical engineering
5 years in plant jig and tool room experience
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Effective time management skills
Knowledge of production process: Spot Welding, CO2 welding, Press tools, tool room and jigs
Good communication skills
Jig and tooling precision adjustments
Robot teaching experience (KUKA/ABB)
Health & Safety knowledge

Responsibilities:

Elaborate tool and jig maintenance plan, budget and training plan for artisans.
Define spare parts and wear parts and ensure its effectiveness
Compiling and maintaining records of machine history including PM’s, job cards, spare used, KPI tracking, jig and tooling standards.
Immediate diagnosis of the quality problems and identify a solution to the problem and establish long term solutions.
Compliance with Quality manual book in accordance with ISO TS (***)-***-****
Assisting maintenance and production team with Asset Care
Roll out set up standards procedures for jigs, tools, grippers according to achieve production quality specifications
Adjust manufacturing processes to ensure optimum cycle time and eliminate unnecessary downtime and scrap
Continuous improvement on jigs, tools and grippers to ensure quality standards are always met.
Perform planned jig and tool maintenance on Time, respond to breakdowns timelessly
Identifying and respond to safety hazards
Knowledge and Maintenance of Press Tooling (Advantageous)
