Company details:
Our business is a high end luxury travel company. We primarily focus on providing in-bound travel assistance into Africa and beyond. Our head office is in Cape Town South Africa, we do however have small satellite offices in the United Kingdom and Venice Italy. While we consider our services and international, our major source markets are (German, Italian and Japanese).
The Intern may perform the following tasks:
• Provide literature and information to clients concerning local, Regional and international tours, travel routes, accommodation, local customs, fares, and travel regulations
• Discuss client requirements and advise on suitable options
• Plan, prepare and cost itineraries (travel plans) for clients
• Make travel, accommodation and related bookings
• Confirm bookings and notify clients of luggage limits and insurance, medical, passport, visa and currency requirements
• Issue tickets for travel, accommodation vouchers and all relevant documentation
• Collect payments and maintain records of transactions
• Assist with changes to travel arrangements and bookings where required.

The Intern may be required to travel to Local, Regional and International destinations that they will be selling for marketing and educational purposes
The Intern must be:
• Computer literate
• Drivers Licence will be considered advantageous
• Must speak English, Afrikaans will be considered an advantage,
• Any international languages e.g. Dutch, German, Italian will be considered an added advantage.
• Must have some basic knowledge of travel(may be required to travel unsupervised)
• Able to work with-out supervision
• Willing to learn
• Must be well groomed, polite and well mannered
• Must have an innate can-do, high spirited personality
• A small allowance of R 5000.00 (Dependent on quality of intern) towards the interns transport/ and living expenses.
• Upon meeting target, the intern is awarded a lucrative % commission of any business acquired thereafter.
• A travel allowance of approximately USD 50 per day outside of accommodation and meals (This is not mandatory)
• The intern may be required to meet minimal targets during their internship, meeting these targets will be taken into consideration during decisions to employ more permanently.
