Responsibilities

Conduct research and gather information on shopper trends, consumer behaviour and local/global megatrends to drive innovative category initiatives

Drive category innovation initiatives through category management development with key customers

Assist in the development of channel plans

Track and measure channel plans/customer activity and implement against set ROI objectives

Collaborative working with marketing to ensure effective planning and rollout of shopper /customer promotions and new product launches

Competitor analysis and information sharing

Pricing Strategy tracking and analysis

Continually refine POP strategy and implementation with a key focus on shopper engagement.

Quarterly updating of the perfect outlet blue print based on shopper and customer insights

Quarterly regional trade reviews


Experience in similar role FMCG , dealing with Shoprite and Pick & Pay etc.
