Traffic Coordinator
Location: Green Point, Cape Town
Salary: R11k per month
 
Purpose of the Role:
To manage the integration of the commercial traffic log and to provide assistance to the Programme Department.
 
Requirements:

• Matric
• Minimum of two years working in an office environment.
• Excellent admin skills, attention to detail
• Flexible to work late when required
• Like repetition and structure
• Ability to work on multiple projects
• Friendly, Professional, Able to communicate in English and Afrikaans
• Ability to work under pressure
• Driver’s license or reliable transport
• MS Office: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook

 
Duties:
Integration of Commercial traffic log

• Downloading of traffic log, and running final check for conflicts and other discrepancies
• Loading of audio for commercials onto playout system
• Facilitating late bookings and ensuring placement on log
• Providing back-up to music log merge process and administration of pre-recorded shows
• Sending recon reports to booking agency

Fielding listener queries

• Attending to listener queries via the SMS platform and studio e-mail and phone calls, and forwarding to appropriate department
• Attending to listener dubbing requests.
• Handling non-commercial dubbing requests.

• Providing execution and administrative assistance on Station Promotions and competitions
• Sourcing, editing and loading of comedy
