Traffic Coordinator

Location: Randburg, JHB
Salary: Market Related

Purpose of the Role:
The successful candidate will be given the task of coordinating and implementing digital development projects tasks and deliverables. The ideal candidate needs to have a broad knowledge and understanding of publishing across digital platforms, and have project management skills. The candidate should have a key understanding of South African and International mainstream television, must be prepared to work flexible hours and have a passion for learning.

Requirements:
2-4 years’ relevant experience
Previous experience project managing or traffic coordinating in a digital or TV broadcast agency
Relevant tertiary education to support this role
Experience working with project plans and project management tools
Understanding of digital platforms and processes and ability to run projects within a digital agency advantageous
Advanced Microsoft Office (full suite) skills needed
Driver's License and own transport advantageous
Good written and verbal communication skill needed
Candidate must be prepared to work flexible hours, after 17h30 and weekends
Have a passion for digital and latest trends on social media and website platforms
Have a sense of ownership on projects
Must be deadline-driven and assertive
Must have logic, eye for detail, be a multi-tasker, work well with people, disciplined, self-leading, solutions-orientated and have a passion for learning

Duties:
Manage projects: plan and coordinate details of content, workflow, timelines, deadlines, and tasks by working with projects teams, clients and management
Project tracking and recons according to deliverables and SLA, ensuring that high-level objectives are met.
Client interaction: Taking minutes, and client representation in client status meetings, receiving and coordinating project requirements.
Reporting: on delivery and projects progress across digital platforms.
Scheduling: Effective scheduling of staff, tasks, and updating team and management on project plans and requirements.
Proactively exploring new methodologies, systems and processes that enhance the flow of work through the agency
