Well established Company requires the services of a Trainee Certification Official in North West, to start as soon as possible.
Requirements:
• Matric
• Diploma or Degree in Agriculture or Agricultural Management with preferably Plant Pathology and Agronomy as subject.
• Valid driver’s licence
• FLUENT in Afrikaans and English (both verbal & written)
• In service training is provided – approximately two years, to be fully qualified on all aspects of certification.
• Candidate must be willing to relocate if required
• Sound internet skills and a high level of computer literacy;
• Strong numeracy efficiency

Responsibilities / Job Description

• Responsible for all aspects regarding certification of certain seeds e.g. registration of units, field inspections, taking of samples, tuber inspections, certification of lots.
• Administrative tasks, which includes capturing of data.
• Must have a positive attitude and keen interest to learn
• Love to work outdoors as a lot of field work is involved, with extended working hours in season
• Must be able to work without supervision and as part of a team;
• Manage own workload efficiently and effectively
• Good communication skills as well as good inter personal relationships are required
