Description:
To conduct manager research on domestic and offshore funds, analyse fund returns, generate investment reports and conduct general reporting used in the management of the suite of PSG Wealth fund of funds managed by PSG Multi-Management. This position will report to a Senior Fund Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting research on domestic fund universe, generating investment reports and making recommendations to management and the PSG
Wealth fund committee
• Developing and updating of research of models
• Identifying potential funds to invest in
• Promote the PSG Wealth Fund of funds value proposition in the PSG Wealth Distribution network
• Contribute towards enhancing our PSG Wealth fund of fund value proposition
• Assist with client events
• Assist with monthly platform roadshow presentations (amongst others)
• Keep abreast of any & all legislation changes or trends
• Conducting operational and investment due diligence on existing underlying funds and new prospects
• Monitoring the performance of underlying funds within the PSG Wealth fund of funds range and ensuring compliance with all relevant
legislation
• Generating high level management reports
• Engage with business to contribute towards the formulation, implementation and monitoring of a list of business targets and goals, both from
a commercial as well as a risk perspective
• Manage escalated adviser complaints and queries regarding the product offering
• Implement controls to reduce operational errors and delays
• Assist with marketing (as per above)
• Analysis of unit trust returns
• Analysis of Industry changes
• Ensure that proper corporate governance principles are applied
• Review of daily reports and daily transactions


Qualifications & Experience:

• B. Com degree in Investment Management
• Honours degree advantageous
• Progress towards CFA/CAIA/CIPM advantageous
• A minimum of 1-2 years´ experience in an investment environment
• Knowledge of South African unit trust industry advantageous
• Bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
