To be successful in the role you will need to be or have:

• Goal driven and self-motivated
• A strong desire to commence your career by getting to know all aspects of a company and an industry and a willingness to commence in a "hands on" role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The capacity to work collaboratively and cooperatively with colleagues
• A minimum of a Matric certificate or the equivalent thereof

Experience is not necessary, as your ability to self-motivate, learn quickly, follow direction and ask for assistance if needed will form the basis of your success within this role. Trainee Managers start by undertaking a training period to learn all the basics within the environment before leading small teams and finally taking responsibility for coaching and developing a full sales and marketing team. We don’t put a timeframe on promotions as it really is down to an individual’s performance, drive and capability – and what opportunities you create in your area. Most importantly, you need to have a passion for working in a customer orientated environment and inspiring a team to achieve great results. You’ll be required to learn a lot and apply what you have learnt, and to always lead by example. It is a diverse role so being self-motivated and open to change really helps.
