We require the services of a suitably qualified Training Manager (Head of Training) for Learn to Earn. The primary purpose of the position is to oversee the strategy and operational implementation of Learn to Earn Training Programmes (Incl. LtE campus based training; LtE Mobile Training; LtE Association training aspects; Ground UP Academy and LtE Development Enterprise Training.

They will be supported by Campus Managers, Project Managers and trainers. The Training Manager is responsible for training development, quality assurance, research and development, and partnership development of the training division within the Trust while also providing support to selected activities with the PTY. Ltd. These activities are further supported LtE Group Support Functions. The Training Manager reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for the line management of the Khayelitsha and Hermanus Campus Managers and the Ground UP Academy Trainer.

FOUNDATIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS & ATTRIBUTES Core Competencies & Personal Qualities • Passionate about developing the unemployed and eradicating the legacies of injustice; • A relevant Education Qualification and 5 Years of experience at a Senior Management Level or at least 10 years of work experience with a minimum of 8 years at a Senior Management Level. Management experience in the Non-Profit Sector is advantageous; • A sound grasp (demonstrated experience) of Training Development; Quality Assurance; Financial Administration; and Fundraising; • Advanced Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite and experience in managing a Customer Relations Management System (CRM i.e. Salesforce); • Strong Communication Skills (fluency in English supported by the ability to communicate in isiXhosa and/or Afrikaans would be beneficial); • Innovative and Solutions Orientated (Problem solver); • Ability to make things happen (self-motivated); • Systems Orientated (well-organized); • Futures Orientated (attention to detail and strategic thinking ability). • Customer Focused and the ability to work inter-culturally and work within diverse cross-cultural contexts; • Adaptable & Responsive (able to work under pressure and make things happen);

Type of Employment: This is senior management position is a permanent, full-time position (salary grade: Senior Management). The successful candidate will be based at Learn to Earn's Ilitha Park, Khayelitsha Campus or otherwise determined by the employer based on programme delivery needs. The employee must reside in Cape Town. Own transport and a valid South African driver’s license is therefore a requirement of this job role.
