TRAINING OFFICER - GENERALIST – ***MUST*** have an HR degree or 3-year HR Diploma
Permanent, full time position, BEE Position
Location: Ga-Rankuwa, Gauteng
Salary: Package: +- R 30 000 plus benefits.


Essential Requirements:
MUST HAVE a Degree in Human Resources or a 3-year Diploma covering the specialist areas of Training, Industrial Relations and Personnel Management.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and TS 16949 requirements related HR and Training
Assessor, moderator and facilitator certificates
Valid driver’s licence.
BEE position

• Matric / Grade 12 (or equivalent)
• Degree in Human Resources
• Identify and prioritise training needs in consultation with management
• Develop and implement annual training plans and budgets
• Design and develop or source training programs
• Monitor annual training plan and adjust according to changing needs.
• Assess effectiveness of training and summarise evaluation reports
• Maintain updated database and training records
• Provide train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
• Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
• Perform the functions of a skill development facilitator as required by the SETA.
• Take full responsibility of skills development report by compiling, reviewing and submitting to SETA
• Quality Assure the full process in line with relevant QMS systems
• Keep abreast of relevant legislation and SETA requirements
• Assist with recruitment and selection of staff
• Chair the Employment Equity and Training Committee
• Assist with Employment Equity implementation and Reporting
• Assist in general HR / IR duties as and when required
• Comply with Safety, Health and Environmental requirements
• Good communication skills at all levels in the organisation and with external institutions.
• Good negotiating, report writing and presentation skills.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
• Self-motivated, assertive and ability to work unsupervised.
• Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
• Computer literacy in MS Office ( Word, Excel and Power Point )
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and TS 16949 requirements related HR and Training
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably automotive leather industry
• Assessor, moderator and facilitator certificates
• Valid driver’s licence.
