Essential Qualifications & Experience
• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Would be at a great advantage if you have an ETDP qualification together with experience in workplace training
• Facilitator, Assessor certificate.
• Moderator certificate will be advantageous.
• Trade Test Certificate or a Qualified Artisan with 3 years practical experience in Earthmoving/ Diesel Mechanic
• Excellent Computer Literacy Skills - MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) essential.
• Essential: must be able to read, write and speak Portuguese.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:
• Assist in and responsible for training of apprentices.
• Preparing and refinement of quality training materials to enhance learning understanding.
• Conducting assessments and moderations;
• Control and monitor progress of learners
• Assess and moderate knowledge and skills of learners (Formative & Summative)
• Assist with conducting of selection interviews and pre-assessments of applicants.
• General admin current records and data on hand for reporting and feedback.

Competencies required are as follows:
• Excellent communication skills at all levels: essential to have the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
• Excellent interpersonal skills: maintain confidentiality and honesty at all times.
• Willing to travel to different sites locally and in Africa.
• Be able to work under pressure.
• Resilience and patience
• Code EB (code 8) driver’s license.
• He / she must be in possession of a valid red ticket (medical certificate of fitness) or be fit to undergo and pass a medical examination which includes an eye sight, depth perception and hearing test.
