SATI currently offers a challenging opportunity for a professional and energetic person to join their management team.

Key performance areas include: • determine and support the needs and concerns of new emerging and historically disadvantaged producers • guide and support transformation and empowerment initiatives of commercial table grape farmers • effectively allocate available budget • make recommendations and assist emerging producers to access available resources • coordinate and chair meetings and serve on committees • develop and implement funding support system • coordinate and implement beneficiaries training and mentorship programmes • liaise with government, NAMC and SETA’s • appoint and fund bursary beneficiaries.

The ideal candidate has: • strong strategic planning skills • a sound understanding of corporate governance and budgeting principles • advanced knowledge of agricultural and socio-economic project management • experience in fund raising • advanced written, verbal and public speaking skills (2-3 languages including English and Afrikaans) • excellent interpersonal skills • a good track record and outstanding networking skills, especially with national and provincial governments and structures.
