Transport Administrator (Pretoria)

We are urgently recruiting for a Transport Administrator to be responsible for ensuring effective management and control of the Licenses, COF, Services, C-track, Drive cam of the entire fleet. Additionally, you will ensure minimal down time of vehicles, effective management and control of fines and making sure correct documents and checks are done by meeting operational standards and procedures.

Desired Skills & Experience
• Matric and National Diploma in Logistics, Transportation Management or related
• 4+ years experience within a transport / logistics / logistics environment in a similar administrator role
• Must have a strong Technical Background with very good knowledge in respect of Trucks (8 ton and upwards)
• Must be able to calculate and understand the fuel consumption of the trucks, ensure the maintenance of the trucks
• Must have solid report writing skills with the ability to be able to discuss and fully explain the reports he compiles to the Transport Team eg: identify problem areas, suggest solutions etc.
• Fully Computer literate in MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• General knowledge of fleet management systems
• Experience in fleet management & maintenance or equivalent (non negotiable)
• Knowledge and/or experience with SAP preferable
• Fluent in English and at least one African Language
• A valid driver's license
• Valid SA I.D
