Primary Purpose of the Role

Effective management and control of the Licenses, COF, Services, C-track, Drive cam of all Supply Chain Vehicle in SA. To ensure the correct documents and checks are done by meeting operational standards and procedures. All Transport Managers to liaise with MTS Administrator to ensure that all operational standards is met. To execute and action work processes relating to all DC's. To ensure no down time of vehicles. Effective management and control of Fines. To ensure the correct documents and checks are done by meeting operational standards and procedures.

What we are looking for in this Role:

A highly energetic candidate with very good communication skills, good problem solving skills and decision making skills.
Must have a good attitude
Must have a strong Technical Background with very good knowledge in respect of Trucks (8 ton and upwards)
Be able to calculate and understand the fuel consumption of the trucks, ensure the maintenance of the trucks, that each truck has a tracking device installed and that it is operational.
Solid report writing skills with the ability to be able to discuss and fully explain the reports he compiles to the Transport Team eg: identify problem areas, suggest solutions etc
Good Ms Office skills
We will also consider candidates who are working in Dealership workshops of eg: Nissan, Mercedes Benz (Truck dealerships) that have this knowledge.

Local Accountabilities:

All original inbound documents (License and COF) to be kept on file at central office.
Follow up on inbound documents (Fines); with the assistance of HR (Driver files) for payment of speeding tickets.
Ensuring all License and COF dates are met.
Keeping an accurate calendar of License and COF dates of all vehicles in Supply Chain.
Responsible for all the Licenses in company Supply Chain.
Responsible for the Cost report so that it is accurately captures
Ensuring all vehicle phones and Tracking units are to working standard
Ensuring all vehicles comply the SA transport standards and all equipment is fitted
Improve KPIs that add value to the operations and minimize costs.
Management of the Purchasing & Controls of Bulk Fuel functions.
100% upkeep of vehicle files / history
Ensuring PO compliance is met with Finance Department
Service and maintenance levels of all vehicles in SA.
Fleet Management System owner (Fleet mate) and ensuring the accuracy of the data and reports
Workshop, Fleet, Driver & Fuel Operations Management Reporting.
