TRANSPORT BROKER x 2 – WELLINGTON (URGENT VACANCY)

An International Transport Company has an urgent need for reliable, dependable and switched on TRANSPORT BROKERS with a common-sense approach. Our clients supply national and international road freight, local collections and deliveries and warehousing and distribution services. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Schedule sub-contractors’ vehicles to ensure that cargo arrive on time;
• Communication and coordination with sub-contracted driver regarding cargo movements and send update reports to Coordinators at the various branches;
• Follow up with drivers throughout the day, telephonically and via tracking software;
• Off-load and Up-load instructions to sub-contracted driver as well as dealing with breakdowns by informing Workshop/Breakdown Teams.
• Schedule vehicles for servicing as per Service Records;
• Organize permits, licenses and COF’s for vehicles;
• Managing cross-border documentation and ensure any queries are sorted out;
• Daily booking of cargo loads on the DATATIM system;
• Daily scheduling of vehicles by Region (scores);
• Processing of RA’s to ensure it get actioned against faltering Driver/co-driver;
• Administer Cell phone accounts, Diesel records, Tracking reports and Security reports.
• Client visits;

• Applicants for positions in South Africa must have a valid South African work permit or be a permanent resident.
