TRANSPORT MANAGER
DELAREYVILLE

Requirements:
- At least 5 years management experience in the transport industry
-Strategic management ability
- Sound knowledge of transport finances
- Sound knowledge of logistics management
- Mechanical knowledge and experience will be an advantage
- Ability to deliver effective management reports on a daily, weekly & monthly basis
- Above average interpersonal and communication skills
- Above average planning and organizing skills
- Above average negotiation skills
- People management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
- Valid drivers’ license

This post reports to the Group General Manager and the responsibilities of the job include the following:
- Strategic management of the transport company, which includes logistics, mechanical workshop and finance/administration
- Generate new business in addition to the service
- Drive efficiencies in the company
- Deliver management reports on a daily, weekly monthly basis
- People management of approximately 80 employees
- Negotiations with suppliers and dealers
