Main Functions:
• Monitor or track vehicles on route to and from clients
• Monitor driver behaviour (speeding, harsh braking, etc.) of all vehicles on a daily basis
• Monitor routes travelled , identifying when vehicles deviate from their routes and report these deviations to the Divisional Director
• Provide best route schedules. Educate, communicate and assist drivers with which best routes to be undertaken
• Report all unscheduled stops and bad driving practices to the Divisional Director
• Ensure that driver tags are always functional and that drivers use the correct driver tags
• Ensure data maintenance compliance on the tracking system
• Arrange repairs to tracking units
• Develop and maintain all relevant information on the system e.g. customer locations and no go areas
• Communicate via e mail all required reports to management

Requirements:
• Extensive satellite tracking experience
• Highly organised and disciplined personality
• Experience in highly pressurised environments
• Ability to function and make decisions independently and initiated action when needed
• Computer literate ( MS Office Word, Excel , E mail )
• Must have own transport and in possession of a Code 08 Drivers License
• Good communication and report writing skills
• Self-motivated and work independently
• Trustworthy and honest
• Work well under pressure
• Good leadership skills - ability to motivate and lead a team
• Good team player
• Experience and knowledge of the SA Pointer Tracking System (Global Telematics)

Standard hours:
• 07:00 – 16:45 Monday – Thursday and 07:00 – 14:00 Friday
• Will be required to work overtime as per operational requirements
