As Trauma Unit Manager you will take over the full responsibility of the Unit and ensure its smooth running at all times including:

Key Responsibilities include:

• Effective Management of standards and policies and ensuring adherence and compliance at all times;
• Effective relationship building with both staff, patients and the entire disciplinary Team
• Effective HR function including rosters, agency staff and the employment and management of all permanent staff.

Applicants for this position must have:

• SANC Registration
• Diploma or Degree in Nursing
• Additional Post Basic Qualification in Trauma Nursing
• Additional Post Basic Qualification in Management (advantageous)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working within a Trauma Unit and/or Accident and Emergency Unit.
