Travel Administration Assistant
Midrand
The role and what it is all about:
• The succesful incumbent will provide comprehensive administrative support to the travel team in their daily tasks and ensure all financial transactions are running smoothly and efficiently within set time deadlines.
• Duties will include the following;
• Provide administration support to the travel department and team
• Maintain a proper and user friendly filing sytem for easy tracking of documents and records
• Adhere to deadlines for customers and supplier payments
• Processing of all supplier statements with 100% accuracy within the given time deadlines
• Liaise with all travellers in a friendly and professional manner
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail for processing, filing and archiving of statement & Invoices. Assist with ad-hoc tasks as an when required by the travel team
• Provide a follow up on deadlines for accomodation and group bookings
• Assist with compiling of travel documents for applications for Visas and ensure to follow up on the status of applications
Requirements:
• Matric qualification
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in office Administration Ability to work in a team and good communications skills
• Ability to meet deadlines driven and excellent time management skills
• Dependability and confidentiality within the working environment
• Excellent numeracy literacy skills, financial acumen and meticolous attention to detail
• Excellent work ethic and the ability to multi-task
• MS Word, Excel and Outlook are necessary for this position
