Remuneration:
Salary negotiable dependant on experience + Medical Aid (portion of the hospital plan contribution) and RA (portion contribution)

Main Functions:

• Responsible for booking various hotels for the companies serviced by the client
• Send booking requests to hotels from Tourplan
• Send cancellation confirmations to hotels from Tourplan when bookings are not going to materialise within the specified cancellation window.
• Alert sales consultants of any problems with hotel bookings (e.g. no availability)
• Prepare control worksheets to check bookings on regular basis and report back to manager.
• Confirm hotels on Tourplan

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years Reservations experience
• Have a basic geographical knowledge of Southern Africa
• Team work and enthusiasm to assist colleagues
• Energetic and have a passion for learning about travel
• Time Management: ability to prioritise, plan and meet deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skill
• Take initiative to ensure attention to detail
• Be professional and offer high service levels at all times
• Understanding and experience on Google (Gmail, Drive, Sheets etc.) advantageous
• Understanding and experience on Tourplan advantageous
• Formal hospitality education advantageous
