• BSc / MSc Forest Science
Work Experience:
• At least 3-5 years relevant experience
• Honest, reliable and energetic individual
• Innovative and adaptable
• Strong analytical aptitude
• Ability to function in a multi-disciplinary team
• Able to function independently and be accountable
• Ability to plan, lead, organise and control subordinates/contractors
The successful candidate will report to the Technical Manager and will be responsible for breeding genetically improved trees.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Manage orchids and clone banks
• Responsible for Fusarium screening
• Manage trial establishment and assessment
• DNA fingerprinting
• Responsible for seed sales
• Ensure compliance with OHS legislation
