What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Machinery Manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context.

* Hands-on problem solving with team
* Fault finding on machines and product produced

Lead production team

* Motivate and grow team
* Deal with HR, Discipline and Labour issues
* Compile and coordinate work schedules
* Manage Budgets

Drive Production

* Ensure optimal quality
* CAPEX and Maintenance on Machines
* Maximise machine availability
* Ensure correct raw materials used
* Manage stock
* Deal with non-conformance and quality issues
* Oversee machine configuration changes for different products

Key Job Deliverables:

* Meet and exceed production targets

* Ensure product produced is of high quality

Background work experience

* Exposure to MAIR Multi-head Cutting Machines
* 5 years on Tubemills and in Tube Manufacturing
* 2 years foreman experience
* Fitter and Turner or Qualified Tube Miller
* Tube Milling Machines
* Managing staff
* Production of milled steel tubes
* Adv: Production management certificate or diploma

Salary: Market Related. In the Range of R300K p.a. to R360K p.a. per annum. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
