Job Description
Ensuring quality and quantity of products are produced by the Production teams, whilst ensuring cost efficiency & optimising production
Co-ordinating the available resources to meet the set targets
Managing the budget & cost control
Compile and manage approved production plans to ensure the set targets are met whilst directing and assessing quality management within function and implement remedial actions where necessary.
Ensuring optimised underground and plant operations efficiencies are adhered to
Ensuring timely delivery of products and that they meet the quality of the customer’s standards
Compiling production plans that align with the operational strategy
Determine, implement and monitor production strategies, activities, plans, reports and schedules.
Identify potential business risks and ensure processes are established to manage appropriately.
Minimum Requirements
Relevant Degree in Metalliferous Mines or similar
Mine Manager Certificate of Competency.
Having a previous 3.1 (a) appointment will be an added benefit
Around 8 years underground mining experience with 3 years in a Management role
Valid Driver’s Licence.
