Qualified Electrician Trade Certificate through a recognised institution and apprenticeship** - send Copy
3 years post Apprenticeship/Qualification experience as an Electrician
Valid Drivers’ License - send Copy
Experience gained in Mine Conveyor maintenance; electrical distribution and control cable installation – jointing and termination; electrical motor installation and experience in replacement; gully box installation and maintenance; medium voltage protection systems; medium voltage switching;
Experience gained in motor control centre and distribution board installation;
Experience in overhead crane maintenance;
Installation of lighting systems; maintenance of electrical equipment (e.g. MV and LV switchgear; electrical motors; lighting systems);
Experience gained in MCC panels; electrical distribution boards
Experience in Tending to electrical breakdowns on trackless machinery
Responsible for trade related administration
Conduct on-the-job training for allocated apprentices
Support the Health and Safety Representative
Required to perform other duties that may be reasonably expected from you within the company from time to time
Work rotational shifts, overtime, do standby and be available for call-outs should the need arise
R27 000-R33 000 neg subject to budget of company on this positon and plus overtime pay and standby pay
