Overall purpose of the position:

The purpose of this position is to underwrite new policies and assist the broker.

Job Specifications:
• Liaising with clients
• Prepare new business quotes
• Issuing new policies, renewals and endorsements
• Recordkeeping

Qualifications & Experience:
• Successfully completed the RE 5 Examination (Representatives)
• NQF Level 4 Short Term Insurance qualification, alternatively studying towards such a qualification
• A minimum of one (1) year working experience within Insurance Company
• Computer literacy (MS Office)

Skills/Competencies:
• Bilingual in Afrikaans and English
• Very good communication skills (both written & verbal)
• Interpersonal skills
• Problem solving and negotiation skills
• Planning and organising
