Overall purpose of the position:

The purpose of this position is to underwrite new policies and renewals, negotiations, quotes etc.

Job Specifications:
Issuing new policies, renewals and endorsements on the SKI System
Preparing new business quotes
Liaising with clients
Record keeping

Qualifications and Experience:
Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
Minimum 30 personal lines credits obtained in line with FAIS requirements alternatively a full NQF 4 short term qualification
Successfully complete the RE 5 Examination Level 1
A minimum of five (5) years' working experience within an Insurance Company
A minimum of three (3) years' underwriting experience
