Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Registered with the SANC as a Registered Nurse
- Diploma/Degree in nursing
- Minimum 5 years practical nursing experience
- Experience in surgical nursing is essential
- Minimum 2 to 4 years experience in a managerial/shift leader position will be an advantage
- Computer literate

Responsibilities:
- Manage patient care
- Develop, maintain and improve quality nursing standards in the unit
- Ensure cost effective nursing
- Manage the unit nursing budget
- Staff management, development and training
- Manage stock and equipment
- Comply with company policies, procedures and internal controls
