We are seeking Maternity Unit Manager to work on a fully equipped 22 bedded Maternity unit. A post basic Midwifery Qualification essential with a minimum of five years’ labour ward experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall Management of this 22 bedded Maternity Unit including Performance, People and Quality Management
• Organisation and planning of Maternity Unit
• Total patient care to both Mother and baby
• Ensure quality patient care and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain sound professional relationships with all patients, doctors and other team members.
• Liaise between patients, doctors and unit personnel

Applicants for this position must:

• Proof of Registration as a Registered Nurse with SANC.
• Nursing Degree/Diploma with Advanced Midwifery.
• Minimum of five years’ labour ward experience
• Proven Management and leadership ability.
• Private hospital experience added advantage.
• Strong customer focus while maintaining excellent standard and service levels.
• Strong interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication.
