Unit Manager (Theatre)
A leading Private healthcare provider in South Africa is seeking to employ a Unit Manager for their Theatre Department to be permanently based in Pretoria, Gauteng. The successful candidate should be able to co-ordinate quality nursing care as they will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring nursing care. They will be accountable for mentoring, training and co-ordination of capacity building.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Must have a Bachelor of Nursing Science or Diploma in General Nursing
Must be registered as a Nurse with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) and comply with all of its code and health care legislations.
Must have a postgraduate qualification in Operating Theatre Technique
Must have a minimum of 7-10 years’ experience as a Registered nurse in Theatre and Surgical units
Must have a minimum of 2 years as a Unit manager of Clinical nurse specialist in a private hospital.
Must have a ACLS, PALS, ITLS training
Must have experience in clinical leadership
Must have intermediate computer literacy level
