Stock Controller (Uplift, Cargo & Catering)

Educational Requirements:
Matric (Must have)
Must have relevant tertiary qualifications

Experience Requirements:
Must hold a valid driver’s license
Must be computer literate
Must be numerically literate
Must be well spoken & presented
Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, public holidays etc.
MUST be able to lift 50kg’s unassisted

Responsibilities:
Ensure that uplift orders are placed with the suppliers as per procedures & timeously placed
Ensure that all flights for the next day are checked and handed to the packers for packing
Ensure that all uplift bins are packed correctly (as per the specs and aircraft type), and sealed
Ensure that all drawers and bins are scanned into the Catering system
Ensure that all bins are scanned to a driver, and flight number and aircraft registration
Ensure that a recon is done nightly on all drawers and bins scanned out for the day and all paper work is completed daily and handed to the drivers
Ensure that all flights are catered correctly and timeously
Ensure that all returns are noted correctly and captured in the system before end of shift
Ensure that all flights are cleared of excess/return catering by the drivers and returned to the stock room
Ensure that all aircraft swaps, bay swaps, technical aircraft, etc are communicated to the drivers
Stock take must be done daily and uploaded into the Catering System
Responsible & accountable for ensuring the minimum stock levels are met
New stock must be counted, packed into shelves / crates timeously
Ensure that stocked packed for flights is not expired
Ensure that all dry stock in packed according to the packing list
Ensure daily delivery of ice & lemons is signed for and enough quantity for the day's flights
Ensure that all paper work is completed correctly by the drivers and discrepancies noted and dealt with immediately
Ensure that all catering equipment is accounted for and washed daily and then returned to the shelves
Work area is clean / presentable
Ensure that all open liquid stock that is returned from flights (juice, wine, water etc.) is dumped into a container and disposed of correctly
Ensure that stocked packed for flights is not expired
Assist on the ramp, if needed or with any other adhoc duties as required
Ensuring policies & procedures are adhered to (Especially Health & Safety). Being accountable for safety risks to aircraft
Providing excellent customer service

Addition:
Salary is R10 000 per month / CTC
Willing to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays etc.
Must have a valid drivers license
