Function: General Test and Measurement and combined RF Sales Engineer

Reporting
to: Divisional Manager

Description and Duties of Job Function:

Sell Oscilloscope, Radio Frequency (RF)
Communications Equipment and recorder solutions utilizing the Test and Measurement
agencies held by the Company into a geographically defined area

Be responsible for submitting professionally
prepared quotes and tenders to the clients in that area by utilizing the

-
Services of the sales support group.

Prepare, in conjunction with management, the yearly
budget for the area.

Interface with all internal departments and
principles when required.

Prepare and present full product presentations to
clients.

Ensure all orders are entered through the correct
channels within the company, accompanied by all relevant information.

Attend all sales meetings and training sessions.

Submit, on a weekly basis, call reports and call
plans.

Build solid relationships with clients.

-
Monthly forecast and update of project list.


Level of Responsibility, Accountability and Authority:


Responsible
for selling appropriate solutions into the designated area, and being
accountable for the viability of the solutions as well as accountable for achieving
the budget at the required G.P. as specified by the company from time to time.

· The authority to decide on the solutions to be offered to the client, as
well as signing of proposal documents up to the monetary value as specified by
the Company


Qualification and training Required:

· National Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering

· Exposure to oscilloscopes and recorders

· 2 years sales experience in the high voltage field

· Field sales training

· Basic P.C. literacy

· Technical skills as defined above

· Communication skills, negotiation, information gathering, problem
solving, team work,

industry, integrity, ethical conduct and personal drive.


Knowledge and Experience Required:

· In depth knowledge of high voltage equipment

· In depth knowledge of the industry

· 2 year’s sales experience.
