A business consultancy focusing on unique design services is looking for expand their UX Design team. The consultancy is works with some of the largest companies both in South Africa and abroad. They are passionate about user experience and creative innovations. The consultancy encourages broad thinking with human touch.

They UX (user experience) designer will join a large team of designers, developers and project support. The UX designer must be focused and passionate our user-centred design methods, techniques and principles. All designs first concept should be with the end user and usability in mind. The ideal UX Designer would be self-driven, be able to take the lead but also take direction. Team work and communication skills is highly important.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Deep knowledge of creating wireframes and lay out for interactive systems. Knowledge of the Media Production terminology and production processes for cross media. Knowledge of creating logical flows and softwares such as axure, omnigrafle, balasmique, etc.
- Capacity and experience to create presentations, storyboards in order to explain complex tasks digitally.
- Capacity to translate physical actions into a digital environment.
- BA and /or MA Degree in a similar field
- Minimum of 4-5 years of user experience working as a User Experience Professional designing and developing software solutions
- Experience or willingness to use HTML and CSS for prototyping is preferred
- Proficient to expert use of software tools such as Axure/OmniGraffle and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, etc.)
- 5+ years working in a digital creative agency, or other media sector dealing with digital media, marketing and campaigns

Desirable Skills and Experience:

- ISO 9241
- Universal design principles
- Apple, Google, IBM, SAP, or Oracle design guidelines
- Working in an agile development environment using Scrum or Kanban
- Applying UCD methodology when designing the user experience
