What you're going to do

Be part of a team working with a Financial Services Industry Leader on highly visible projects solving end-to-end business process challenges and creating a world-class UX for both current and prospective users of Client’s unique range of products and services.

What you'll need:

• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical- including the ability to clearly articulate UX/UI concepts and rationale to clients and teams

• Strong technical writing skills are a major plus

• Proven leadership skills and Project Management Skills a plus

• Strong user centered design skills and experience on Mobile Application Designs would be an advantage

• Ability to iterate your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently

• Experience in an Agile SDLC environment is strongly preferred.

The work you need to deliver

• Represent the User Experience Team in client meetings regarding new business initiatives and/or changes

• Elicit system requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, task and workflow analysis and translate them into technical and operational design requirements

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into conceptual diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and visual mock-ups

• Design the interface, interaction, information architecture, flow and key UX decisions for cross-device and cross-platform solutions as part of a multi-disciplinary team

• Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications

• Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core and new functions and features

• Ability to develop and deliver presentations to various audiences from application end users to clients and internal senior leadership

• Promote usability best practices and conduct usability tests and research

• Build upon and expand established style guides and UI patterns.

We're looking for someone with:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, preferably in an IT, Psychology or HCI related field.

• Three or more years of UX design experience

• Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments

• Expertise in UX software such as InVision, Axure, Balsamiq and the like is a must

• Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JacaScript skills are a plus

• Working knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator)

• Ability to create illustrations for stylized graphic artwork and icons is a plus.
