Mid- to Senior Level UX Front-End Designer Wanted

My client seeks an experienced (3+ years) UX Designer to be based in Durbanville, Cape Town. The successful applicant will have proven industry experience in both mobile and web-based UX and UI design, and will be able to exhibit project management-, leadership- and logical skills.

Requirements:

• Understanding of UX flows, design and creative processes
• Ability to work in a team environment, next to other designers and backend developers
• Proven experience in designing UX solutions for a range of requirements, from informational dashboard-orientated sites, to transactional / POS related sites, to mobile iOS and Android UX design
• Ability to quickly grasp requirements, processes and business models
• Ability to present UX solutions (both internally and to clients)
• Knowledge of user-centred design practices, principles and techniques
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to scope and deliver UX projects on time
• Ability to cope with pressure and deadlines

Duties:

• Wireframe design, site-maps and process flows
• Working in a team environment to design beautiful UX solutions for complex data-driven systems
• Presenting UX solutions to clients
• Future leadership and mentoring duties
• Managing workflow within a growing team

Software:

Proven competency in the following software is important:

• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe InDesign

Knowledge of the following software will be a bonus:

• Adobe Premiere
• 3D Studio Max
• Google SketchUp
