Mandatory Requirements

• Experience: Minimum: 8 years of digital design work
• Local Government work experience
• Proficiency: UX Design work
• Portfolio of evidence (minimum of 5 samples)

KEY DUTIES

• To translate wireframes and mock-ups into user interface designs that lead to intuitive and functional user experiences.
• Ensure content is signed off by clients prior to upload to required platforms. Liaise with clients and vendors as necessary.
• To design and deliver user interface designs, creative assets and interface elements for applications and/or web projects.
• Participate in UAT (user acceptance testing) and provide appropriate feedback as required.
• Participate in team efforts to plan, conceptualise and design an improved digital experience for Organization staff and customers.
• Repurpose campaign/client materials and content for multiple and platforms e.g. presentations, infographics, web pages, newsletters and microsites and audiences i.e. councillors, staff, residents, business and industry - as necessary.
• To contribute to and maintain design standards and guidelines for Digital Communication managed applications and platforms.
