Duties and Responsibilities:
• Will be in charge of various daily back and middle office support functions
• Capture and maintain trade data
• Maintain instrument and price data
• Daily valuation of instruments and portfolios
• Send customised daily and monthly client reporting
• Develop and improve processes and systems
• Reconcile in-house and external systems
• Operationally assist clients with their investments
Working environment:
• Work as part of a small team (4) with final responsibility for allocated tasks
• Entrepreneurial environment but also being part of a larger group of companies
• Working on highly specialised and non-vanilla instruments and portfolios
• Exposure to a wide financial environment through various company departments
Qualifications:
• B. Comm. (Investments focus) or relevant Diploma
• Very good Excel skill (must have VBA knowledge)
Skills/Competencies and experience:
• Minimum 1 year in relevant industry
• Accuracy and detail orientated person (Very important)
• Consistency
• Take final responsibility for daily deliverables
• Ability to understand and manage overall processes
• Ability to work in an constantly changing environment, often with deadline pressure
• Good finance, mathematical and Excel technical skills
• Ability to manage internal and external relationships with the different stakeholders
