Venue Chef – A la Carte, Weddings & Functions, Worcester, Winelands Western Cape

Our Client in Worcester, a popular wedding and function venue situated is looking for a passionate Chef to join their team.

Salary Negotiable + Full Live in, Water & Lights and DSTV (2 days of per week) – Breakfast & Dinner

Responsibilities:

Culinary Qualification
Must have 2-5 years’ experience in upmarket restaurant / catering for functions/weddings
Passion for food, innovative and attention to detail
Computer Literate – MS Excel, MS Word
Excellent leadership skills to manage kitchen
Own transport, valid driver license
Live on premises in a beautiful cottage among vineyards
Must be willing to work long hours, public holidays and weekends as required by the industry

Requirements:

Food Orders, Purchasing and Stock Control
Menus, Costing’s
Management of Kitchen Staff of 4
Wedding/ Conference Catering for up to 130 PAX
Breakfast & Dinner for Guests House guests
Must be able to work under pressure
