Reporting structure.
Reports directly to Video Jet Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES
Proactively support internal customers – Video Jet Customer Service Desks and Service technicians.

Take full responsibility for all stock movements within the stores.

Be fully accountable for stock variances.

Despatch from stores all parts accurately with necessary paperwork – with completed details (works order no, customer order numbers etc.)

Delivery notes / store requisitions returned to relevant customer service desk for processing.

Queries for outstanding documentation with relevant service technicians.

Ensure that all goods received are checked against supplier paperwork and a visual inspection is to be performed.

Video Jet Container – Receive, Unpack and split consumables

Ensure all goods and hazardous goods are stored as per health and safety requirements.

Ensure that all stock are packed used on a First In First Out(FIFO) basis to avoid product spoilage

Note any discrepancies (over / short / damaged) and highlight these to the relevant customer service desk in order that the suppliers can be contacted.

Forward all GRN paperwork timeously to Video Jet Accountant in order for it to be updated on the system.

Contacting Couriers for deliveries.
Tracking of parcels & report to Video Jet Customer Service Desk. Spreadsheet

Weekly spot checks on stock – co-ordinated with Video Jet Customer Service Desk.

Bi-annual stock count. Physical counting of stock, investigating variances, assist customer service desks with data capture of stock count.

Stores maintenance – ensure that the store in kept clean and parts are neatly packed in logical order.

OBJECTIVES
Maintain accurate stores and stores records.

TARGETS
Reduce stores write off by 50 % within xxx months
Improve internal and external customer service levels.

SALARY
In the region of R13 000 per month + guaranteed 13th cheque + benefits (pension and medical aid)
