My client is looking to recruit a Villa Manager to manage two 5 star Villas - One in the Boland area and one in Clifton.

Minimum Criteria

Grade 12
Relevant diploma in Hospitality Management or Tourism
Minimum 4 years relevant experience in the hospitality industry gained within a 5 Star establishment.

The key job functions are:

FINANCE

It is expected that you will determine, in consultation with the business owners, the appropriate pricing to ensure that we achieve a 25% guest occupancy rate

It is expected that a budget will be prepared and managed in consultation with the business owners and will be administered by the administrator, who will report to you on accounting.

It is expected that all financial functions are managed effectively, including invoicing, supplier payments, audits and business compliance. You will be assisted in this regard by the administrator and the auditors.

CUSTOMER

It is expected that the focus will be on attracting executive families, primarily from overseas and that efforts will be made to encourage these families to return on a regular basis. Customer loyalty plans to be put in place to support this vision.
Host guests to a world class standard and ensure that they enjoy a unique experience that takes advantage of the villa facilities and key tourist attractions in the surrounding area. Liaise and co-ordinate with guests/agents/tour operators prior to their arrivals to ensure specific expectations are met. A Concierge service is to be offered to those that require this.
Manage functions at the villa (event co-ordinating and overseeing all events) ensuring the highest standards are achieved in entertaining clients

PROCESSES

Property Maintenance and Management. Manage all requests by the owners to improve the villas and develop in line with the ethos of the business.
To market the villa effectively and build networks with key tour operators and agents (local and abroad).Manage all digital marketing such as Trip Advisor, Google and the website in collaboration with a website administrator.
Develop and Manage the quality management process to ensure that the villa meets the standards expected of a five star villa.
The team are well managed, with updated key performance agreements and contracts. Training and co-ordinating the Team (Housekeeping, Butler and Garden team)

RESOURCES

To develop a network of suppliers to expand guest services, including part time chefs, caterers, babysitters and casual housekeeping staff to assist with laundry etc. Three quotes to be sourced when appointing new suppliers and regular suppliers to be reviewed quarterly. Work with the administrator to source the best suppliers and quotations for any works or new purchases for the villa as well as catering and function suppliers.
