VIP Payroll Administrator
Strand (Western Cape)
Our client in Strand requires the services of a VIP Payroll Administrator to manage the national payroll function for the company.
Key performance areas:
? Provide the full payroll function for the company on a national scale (approx. 1200 staff members)
? Process all payroll duties on VIP Payroll
? Process salaries and weekly paid wages
? Handle UIF & pay-as-you-earn calculations
? Interpret and calculate wages according to employee contracts
? Assist with employee contracts
? Assisting with leave, sick leave and other related administrative functions
? Administer employee recorded working hours on their time sheet, as captured by a biometric clock card system
? Providing monthly reports to the company accountant
? Work independently
The successful candidate must have:
? Matric with a relevant HR, administrative or payroll qualification
? Excellent working knowledge of VIP payroll
? Minimum of 3 years payroll experience, preferably in the retail industry
? Technical knowledge of the payroll system, work schedule rules and financial reports
? Good computer literacy is a must
? Must be able to function independently
? Must be highly organized and disciplined
? Must be extremely accurate and pay great attention to detail
? Must be able to calculate hourly, weekly and monthly wages
? Ability to interact effectively with different levels of staff throughout the company
? Must reside in the Western Cape
